Cut car journeys by sharing ... it couldn’t be simpler!

The new online service will allow you to offer to give one-off or regular lifts between specified places at specified times or you can state the lift you would like to receive.

If you wish to take up one of the lifts on offer, or offer a lift that is being sought, then you can do that by filling in a simple online form.

You can reduce the number of vehicle journeys you make and maybe share the costs by using the new on-line liftshare service. You will be able to access the service from Monday, 6th October at http://www.bramptonandbeyond.org/liftshare/ 

Liftshare allows you to:

• offer lifts to others
• seek lifts from others

You can ask for, or offer to give, one-off or regular lifts between specified places at specified days and times.

You are in control. You can:

• refuse to give a lift to someone who wants to travel with you
• refuse any lift offered to you
• end any long-term arrangement at any time

By simply filling in a response panel on the website, you can:

• take up one of the lifts on offer
• offer a lift that is being sought

Liftshare schemes have been operating in this country for …ever. They are …safe, and friendly. And you can save money if you agree with the sharer to share the costs, or if you both have cars, to alternate them…
